To promote women’s football in the state and empower our students as per AIFF guidelines, the academy in association with Football Association of Odisha, celebrated a week long Women’s Football Development Programme at the academy complex at Dhabaleswar Institute of Polytechnic, Khuntuni, Cuttack. Multiple events were conducted during the period such as

• Futsal game
• Honoring ex national football players
• Quiz competions
• Competitions such as push pass, passing with the inside of foot, target shooting (high drive), shot at goal etc. ball juggling were conducted

On the penultimate day, the event was graced by honorable attendees such as Mr. Avijeet Paul – Secretary FAO, Mr. Randeep Barua,  Head of Academy & Women’s Football – Odisha FC, Mr. Bhakta Ballav Das – Treasurer FAO etc. along with eminent national women’s players from across the country such as Ms. Shradhanjali Samantray(Ex India Captain), Gayatri Mallick, Alochana Senapati, Rashmita Patra, Tikina Samal, Prashanti Pradhan, Pyari Xaxa, and Sweety Devi from Manipur.

The club felicitated the heroes of women’s football who motivated our players with their experiences and vision.
