Shri Das, a retired Superintendent of Police with extensive experience in sports, brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the Nita Football Academy. With his background as a former player and captain of the Odisha Police team, Shri Das is well-equipped to manage sports activities with utmost diligence and expertise. Currently serving as the working president of the Cuttack District Athletic Association, Treasurer of the Football Association of Odisha, and President of the Odisha Yoga Association, Shri Das plays a pivotal role in shaping the athletic landscape of the region. His extensive network and affiliations within the sporting community offer invaluable opportunities for the academy’s growth and development.

Shri Dilip Ku. Sahoo, Vice President

Shri Sahoo, a retired officer of the Directorate of Fisheries, brings invaluable expertise and passion for sports. Currently serving as the Vice President of the Football Association of Odisha and the Cuttack District Athletic Association, his dedication to the advancement of sports is truly commendable.

As an ex-state football player who has represented Odisha multiple times, both as a player and captain of the team, Shri Sahoo possesses a deep understanding of the intricacies of the game. His firsthand experience and insights into the sport enrich the coaching and mentoring provided at the academy, ensuring that the young girls receive top-notch guidance and training.

Shri Manas Ranjan Samal, Vice President

Shri Samal, a retired officer of the Directorate of Fisheries, brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the realm of football. Currently serving as a member of the selection committee of the Odisha Senior Football Team, Shri Samal’s insights and discernment are instrumental in identifying and nurturing talent at the grassroots level.

As an ex-state football player who has proudly represented Odisha numerous times, both as a player and captain of the team, his firsthand experience on the field, coupled with his keen understanding of the intricacies of the game, enriches the coaching and scouting efforts at Nita Football Academy. His role in identifying promising players and providing them with opportunities for growth and development ensures a steady pipeline of talent for the state team and beyond.

Shri Prabhat Ku. Mohapatra, Vice President

Shri Mohapatra stands out as a distinguished figure, bringing with him a wealth of experience and passion for the sport of football. A retired officer of the Office of Audits & Accounts, Odisha, Shri Mohapatra currently serves as a valued member of the selection committee of the Odisha Senior Football Team.

Having represented Odisha several times as a player himself, his journey in football reflects a deep-seated commitment and love for the game. His firsthand experience on the field, combined with his astute understanding of the nuances of football, adds a unique perspective to the selection committee’s deliberations.

Er. Shikha Tomar, Honorary Member

Mrs. Shikha, a veteran of 18 years with prestigious Tata Consultancy Services, extends the Tata Group ethos and exemplifies dedication and altruism as she seamlessly juggles between a demanding work schedule and family commitments. Despite her bustling life, Shikha generously volunteers her time to manage academy activities and mentally coaches the young girls of Nita Football Academy, imparting invaluable life lessons along the way. Contributing beyond the realms of traditional coaching, she instills resilience, perseverance, and teamwork in these aspiring athletes. By sharing her experiences and insights gained from her professional journey, she not only nurtures their sporting talents but also equips them with the necessary skills to navigate life’s challenges shaping them into confident and empowered individuals.
